Clock Spring® Snap Wrap™
Clock Spring® Snap Wrap™ is an economical repair alternative for pipelines operating at less than 500psi (3.45MPa).
The Snap Wrap™ repair is comprised of multiple layers of a composite split-sleeve, the Clock Spring® high-strength filler material and the Clock Spring® adhesive. Clock Spring Snap Wrap™ can be used to permanently repair external blunt defects with a depth of less than 90% of the nominal wall thickness.
Clock Spring® Snap Wrap™ is a high-strength corrosion resistant fiberglass and resin composite sleeve, a high performance adhesive and a filler material. The composite split sleeves are uniquely shaped and sized to wrap around pipe diameters of .75 inches (19 mm) and larger. The individual layers are bonded together and to the pipe to fully restore serviceability.
